The SCHIRN presents the first major solo exhibition in Germany by the artist duo Bárbara Wagner & Benjamin de Burca. At the heart of the exhibition is a newly produced work developed specifically for this presentation. This video installation focuses on the current hardcore scene – and in particular on Straight Edge (abbreviated “sXe”) in Germany – a movement that began on the East Coast of the United States in the 1980s as a “clean” counterculture within the post-hardcore punk scene. The exhibition runs from January 29 to April 26, 2026.

Without a fixed time slot, you can visit the exhibition on any day during regular opening hours! The ticket grants a single admission to the exhibition. You may present the ticket either printed or on your smartphone at the entrance.
